Mumbai, Dec 4 – NCP (Sharad Pawar group) spokesperson Vidya Chavan on Saturday took a swipe at the ruling BJP, saying that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar group) president Ajit Pawar’s speech at his camp had been scripted by BJP to divert attention from the public’s burning issues.
She said that the dress rehearsal ahead of upcoming Lok Sabha elections was seen in Ajit Pawar’s friendship camp held on Friday, where his speech was scripted by BJP and it seems he made speech under pressure from BJP, she claimed.

Even though there is a triple engine government in the state, Maharashtra is currently restless, as issues of help for farmers affected by recent unseasonal rains and the reservation issue are getting complicated, she noted.

Ms Chavan alleged that Ajit Pawar was asked by BJP to talk about NCP national president Sharad Pawar and NCP in the camp to divert attention from these issues.

Talking about Rohit Pawar’s ‘Sangharsh Yatra’, she said that the Yatra is getting huge response from youths, farmers and local people in the area through which it is passing.
Rohit Pawar has decided to solve the problems of youths and farmers, she added.
