Chandigarh, Dec 20 – BJP National General Secretary and party in-charge of Ladakh Tarun Chugh on Tuesday warned former J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti against inciting public sentiments against the Supreme Court’s decision on abrogation of Article 370.

He said that Abdullah, Mufti and Gandhi-Nehru family should stop provoking people on the historic decision of the Supreme Court on Section 370.

Referring to Mufti’s remark that Supreme Court’s decision was “not a decision of God”, Chugh said she was indirectly trying to instigate the people of Jammu and Kashmir against the constitutional institutions and Insulting the institutions.

He questioned whether she was doing this at the behest of Pakistan’s ISI. He said now the time has come that they start talking about Indian nationalism instead of pleasing their masters and looking towards them to mislead the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Chugh said that the policies and programmes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have started a new chapter of peace, development and trust in Jammu and Kashmir, after which terrorism has been stamped out to give way to tourism. The people are in search of their development and prosperity and the people of Jammu and Kashmir are no longer ready to fall prey to the politically misleading narrative of the Mufti, Abdullah and Gandhi Nehru families.
