Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nov 27: An average of 40.4 mm unseasonal rains with lighting and hailstorms lashed in seven districts of Marathwada division in the state during the last 24 hours, said Divisional Commissioner official sources on Monday morning.
According to the official rain statistics issued by the Divisional Commissioner Office on Monday morning, an average of 40.4 mm of rainfall has been registered across the seven districts in Marathawada division since last night.
About 107 revenue circles in these districts received heavy rainfall, i.e., above 65 mm.
As per the statistic, Jalna district recorded the highest 70.7 mm rainfall, including heavy rainfall, in 27 circles, followed by Hingoli district at 65.8 mm, including 12 circles; Parbhani district at 65 mm, including 23 circles; Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar district at 60.8 mm, including 32 circles; Nanded district at 37 mm, including 12 circles; Beed district at 27 mm, only one circle; Latur at 1.5 mm; and Osmanabad district at nil, they added.
