Mumbai Oct 3: Former Mumbai Muncipal Coporation corporator Leena Harish Shukla joined Shiv Sena (Shinde) in presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday, taking the total number of corporators in Mumbai who have pitched their lot with the party to 35.
Shukla was an independent corporator from Chandivali area in the city suburb.
Congress’ block Women’s wing president Maya Khot, vice president Jaya Nadar and several other party workers too joined the Shiv Sena (Shinde).
While giving credit for Mumbai’s development to the Chief Minister, Shukla said she was impressed with his working style and so decided decided to join the party.
