Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar, Oct 27: In a heart-wrenching series of events, ten lives were lost in two separate road accidents in Beed district, Marathwada region, late last night.

As per reports emerging from Beed, a fatal collision occurred when an ambulance, en route from Dhamangaon village to the city, collided with a truck. Among the four casualties was a doctor, adding a somber note to the tragic incident.

In another unfortunate incident, a passenger bus, carrying 40-45 passengers, met with a devastating fate as it overturned near Gandhanwadi Phata on the Ashti-Jamkhed Road in the district. The accident resulted in the loss of six lives.

The incidents underscore the urgent need for enhanced road safety measures and vigilance to prevent such tragic accidents in the future.
