Sant Kabir Nagar, UP – December 4, 2023: In a heartbreaking incident in Menhdawal area of Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, a 25-year-old woman, identified as Kiran, and her two-year-old son, Vigyantu, allegedly committed suicide on Monday. The incident unfolded following a dispute with Kiran’s husband, Jamwant Kewat.
The Superintendent of Police, Satyajit Gupta, reported that around 8 am, they received information about the tragic incident. Upon reaching the scene, the police, along with a forensic team, discovered the lifeless bodies hanging from a hook.
According to family members, Kiran and Jamwant had a heated argument, resulting in scolding from the husband. The bodies have been sent for postmortem, and further actions will be determined based on the autopsy report.
The unfortunate event has cast a shadow of grief over Gagnai Rao village, leaving the community in shock. Authorities are closely investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic suicides.
