Chikkaballapur, Dec 11 – Four college students died in an accident after a car in which they were travelling toppled, and fell into a ditch near here.
The mishap took place on Saturday night when the deceased were travelling to Chikkaballapur from Bengaluru to see off two of their college mates, police said.
The accident happened after one of the students who was driving, lost control due to overspeeding, they said.
Three students died on the spot, and another breathed his last while undergoing treatment in a hospital for grievous injuries, police said.
A case was registered and investigation is underway, police said.
