New Delhi, Dec 6 – On the second day of Winter Session, several important issues were raised by the members in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.

BJP MP Ajay Pratap Singh urged the Central government to include millets in Public Distribution System (PDS).

Raising the issue over remarks on Sanatana dharma by Tamil Nadu Ministers, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao expressed his concern and demanded action against them.

He also called upon the state government to register FIR against the concerned Ministers besides their dismissal from the state Cabinet.

On the issue of attacks on fishermen, Vaiko from MDMK expressed his concern over the attacks on Indian fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy personnel, and damaging their boats and nets.

Vaiko urged the government to take immediate action on it and establish diplomatic talks regarding the issue.

Expressing dismay on the suicides of young students, BJP MP Sushil Kumar Modi said it is a matter of concern for all the governments that why students are committing suicides. He demanded for constituting a committee to investigate that why several students of coaching institutes commit suicides.
