Hyderabad, Nov 27 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Kanha Shanti Vanam, the world headquarters of Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Heartfulness, on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

During his visit, PM Modi unveiled the commemorative plaque for the 125 years of Babuji celebrations. To mark the occasion, the Prime Minister planted a Bakul plant, also known as Pagoda or Indian Bullet tree. The significance of the tree lies in its medicinal, cultural, and astronomical associations.

Over 40,000 people from across the country and overseas gathered, with many more joining virtually, to meditate together at the world’s largest meditation center.

In his address, the Prime Minister said, “My visit here was long overdue, but the time to visit Kanha Shanti Vanam has come only now to see the inspiring work under the vision of Pujya Daaji. Today, Kanha Shanti Vanam is known as the world’s largest meditation center, radiating positive energy. Kanha is propagating the wisdom and traditions of our ancient seers and yogis, adopted by over 160 countries as yoga and meditation — a great service to humanity.”

Expressing admiration for Pujya Daaji, the Prime Minister stated, “What Pujya Daaji is doing for humanity today is truly incredible. His immense contributions also got him honored with the Padma Bhushan. Daaji is one of the greatest souls I have met, excelling in the pharmaceutical industry and leading by example in spirituality. I feel very happy to see the heights to which Daaji has taken Kanha as a great motivator and spiritual guide for all of mankind.”

PM Modi emphasized the resurgence of India through meditation, yoga, ayurveda, and other sciences, reflecting pride in the nation’s heritage. He highlighted the contributions of Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Heartfulness and their volunteers toward building a prosperous and strong Bharat.

“I believe in the four pillars for a strong India — Nari Shakti, Yuva Shakti, Shram Shakti, and Udyam Shakti. These four pillars will empower women, youth, employees, enterprises, and labor. Just as nature gives selflessly, let us work selflessly and build a strong Bharat,” the Prime Minister stated.

In response, Revered Daaji, Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, said, “In Modi ji, we have a global leader, and it is with his vision that India is shining. What strikes me the most is what we must do next — we must bring inner cleansing to be better human beings. Yoga and meditation will help clean thought pollution, and hence ‘Har din dhyan, har dil dhyan’ is something I recommend to everyone. Let us be proud of our heritage and be proud of each other.”
