Hingoli, Dec 02 : State Minister for Minority Development and Auqaf, Marketing and Guardian Minister for Hingoli Abdul Sattar on Friday asserted that the Maharashtra government stands firmly behind the rain affected farmers.


Due to unseasonal rains in the district, agricultural crops have been extensively damaged. T
He was speaking on the occasion of a review of the damage caused by the unseasonal rains.
Sattar said that the revenue, agriculture department should urgently go to the affected lands of the farmers in all the districts and submit an objective panchnama report to the government by December 7 so that no farmer who has suffered damage due to unseasonal rain in the district was deprived .
He said after receiving the Panchnama report, compensation will be given to the farmers up to three hectares as per NDRF rules..


Also, the farmers should complete one hundred percent insurance registration by December 15 for rabi season wheat, sorghum, gram by paying one rupee. For this, he also instructed to hold gram sabhas in every village to inform the farmers and ensure that hundred percent crop insurance is registered.
Sattar further said that care should be taken that this amount is not deducted in any kind of loan account and interest from the subsidy received by the farmers.


Also, the money accumulated in the zero balance account should not be deducted. Care should be taken to ensure that no farmer is deprived of crop insurance due to continuous rains and heavy rains.
