Jammu, Dec 11 – Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Sunday that youth power is the greatest asset of the country.

“Youth power is the greatest asset of our country. They have the courage to stand alone against all odds and challenges without any fear and are always ready to provide new ideas and new initiatives for the betterment of society,” Sinha said, addressing the closing ceremony of the statelevel Yuva Utsav: India@2047, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports through NYKS.

The Lieutenant Governor also congratulated the winners.

“Taking inspiration from PM Narendra Modi’s Panch Pran, Yuva Utsav integrated five youth-centric programs,” he said.

“The creativity, charisma, and hard work of youth are the formidable force that is setting a new agenda of development,” said Sinha, adding that “the new ideas and conviction are stimulating various sectors and contributing to new discoveries and innovation. The future belongs to India and our youth.”

“Initiative, leadership, self-confidence, persistence, imagination, and courage to learn from failure are rare qualities of youth that influence society and open the door to new possibilities in the developmental journey,” he added.
