Prayagraj, Oct 6: Fighters jets and helicopters enthralled the people by performing thrilling stunts showcasing their efficiency on Friday before the air show to be organised on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the Air Force in Prayagraj.
Fighter planes, including Sukhoi-30, Mirage 2000, Jaguar, LCA Tejas, Hawk, helicopters Chinook, MI-17, V5, Chetak and ALH, Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and many other aircraft were involved in the dress rehearsal.
It may be noted that more than 100 aircraft will arrive here from 10 airbases to showcase their capabilities in the air show on Sunday.
Keeping Prayagraj as the centre, the Air Force demonstrated its air power through various fighter planes during the air show. The crowd present remained astounded on the feats of the war planes.
The area around the Sangam (the confluence of Ganga, Yaumna and Saraswati) echoed with the thundering sound of the jets. Chinook and other helicopters of the army also enthralled the spectators by displaying their bravery for two and a quarter hours which started around 3 pm.
