New Delhi, Dec 4 – The Delhi Prison Department has issued notice for the termination of services of 50 officials after reported mismatches in biometrics and photographs found during verification of the recruitment process, Tihar Jail Officers said on Saturday.
The step was taken after the report from the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) sent reports about the alleged mismatches.
A senior prison officer said DSSSB conducted the verification and allegedly found mismatches in the biometrics and photographs of nine Assistant Superintendents, 39 Warders and two Matrons.
According to the Tihar Jail Administration, the Prison Department in association with DSSSB conducted biometric and photograph verification of 477 officials.
