New Delhi, Dec 20 – Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday met his Tamil Nadu counterpart M.K Stalin before I.N.D.I.A bloc meeting was held in Delhi to deliberate on the current political situation in the country.

Informing about the meeting, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha said that primarily, there were discussions to strengthen the INDIA Alliance and offer an alternative government to the people of the country.

Chadha said, “They discussed how to fulfil the hopes of the people, how to provide a strong government to eradicate inflation and unemployment, and how all parties with similar ideologies could come together.”

Responding about the ED’s summons to Kejriwal, Chadha alleged that nowadays in the country, anyone who questions the BJP government is either arrested or suspended. “If senior leaders of the AAP like Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendar Jain express their willingness to join the BJP, they would be out of jail within two minutes and the BJP would warmly welcome them into their party.

We have seen the same scenario in Maharashtra.”, AAP said in a statement.

“CM Arvind Kejriwal is going for Vipassana on December 19. He regularly goes for Vipassana. This time too, his schedule is predetermined. He will consult with lawyers to decide whether to respond to the ED or not and formulate a further strategy,” Chadha claimed in a statement issued by AAP.

Regarding his meeting with Stalin, Kejriwal said they expressed their concerns on the current political state of the country, emphasizing the necessity of cooperation by INDIA.

Taking to X (erstwhile Twitter), Kejriwal wrote, “Today, I had the privilege of meeting Thiru MK Stalin in Delhi. We expressed our concerns on the current political state of the country, emphasising the necessity of cooperation by INDIA.”
